About Sports INACTION
Plenty of attention is payed to great action shots of sports - and rightfully so.
But what about those on-field moments in-between big plays? or even those momenents in-between a ho-hum game that might not mean much to anyone.
Sometimes it is abundantly clear that an athlete is in particularly deep thought or even bored. I'm probably most fond of those moments where opponents joke with each other in between free throws or pitches or snaps.
As a former sportswriter still working in the general field, I've always had an interest in those moments. As someone who's aspired to a different level of photography, I noticed that you don't need a particularly great camera or technical knowledge to capture these moments.
I'm sure some other flickr folks feel the same way.
