14 Jan 10 - All Spitfires conform on this group. If the Hurricane can have its own flikr space then the Spitfire should have as well. Any pictures of this legendary aircraft welcome be they static, flying , in bits , models or computer generated imagery!
Also any pictures taken FROM Spitfires (Reconnaisance, air-to-airs or indeed anything. Provided the camera was actually in the Spitfire!

About Spitfire!

Ask anyone to name a famous aircraft from World War 2 and almost certainly it will be this one! The Hawker Hurricane (The Spitfires stablemate in the Battle of Britain has a group for it so here is a group to honour this classic aircraft . All Spitfire pictures are welcome be they full sized aircraft , model, paintings or indeed anything "Spitfire"

However I WILL delete anything that does not relate to the Spitfire aircraft.. Cars for example.
