About Spiny Forest - Madagascar
The inspiration for this group is the set of plants native to the Spiny Forest of southern Madagascar, so please consider posting any photos of such plants that you have, either cultivated or in their natural habitat.These include Didiereaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Apocynaceae, Asphodelaceae, Asclepiadaceae, Cucurbitaceae, Orchidaceae, and many others. Please consider adding "Madagascar" and "Spiny Forest" (as a phrase) as keywords for your Madagascar plant photos.
Even though this group is primarily intended for Madagascan Spiny Forest plants, botanical denizens of other spiny forests (or other similar xerophytic biomes) are also welcome, as comparisons with the Madagascan species..
