About Special Olympics Ireland

Special Olympics Ireland is a year-round sports training and competition programme for people with an intellectual disability. 10,948 athletes take part in regular sports training in 446 clubs throughout the entire island of Ireland.
The 2010 Special Olympics Ireland Games will take place in Limerick from 09th - 13th June. 1900 athletes will be supported by 3500 volunteers, with 5000 family members and friends in attendance.

Members can post photos of Special Olympics Ireland events including 2010 Special Olympics Ireland Games, the Law Enforcement Torch Run, and all Special Olympics events that take place throughout the year.

All photos are subject to approval by Special Olympics Ireland.
