Photography Assignment

Each Friday we send out a SparkMail to announce our new photography assignment, then members take photos related to the assignment topic and share them with the team. We also share older photos that fit the assignment if we have them. Each assignment remains open for a month.

Shutterbugs Photo Pool

Our pool is made up of our members’ best photos. Each member is encouraged to send one great photo to the pool every day. A great way to enjoy our photos is by watching the slideshow. If you have a hard time deciding which photos are your best, try using the “POPULAR” link above your photos on your Flickr page.


Adding Photos to a Discussion:

1. Choose the photo you would like to add to the discussion. Click or double click on the photo.
2. Directly above the photo click "all sizes." You can choose which size photo to copy and paste into the thread on the Sparkpeople Shutterbugs group. For the photography assignment choose MEDIUM. For the games choose SMALL.
3. Scroll down until you find these words - "Copy and paste this HTML into your webpage." Highlight and Copy the HTML.
4. Go to the Sparkpeople Shutterbugs group. Open the thread in which the photo will be placed. In the comment box, paste your HTML code for your photo. Click - Post Now.


Sending Photos to the Pool:

Please send one of your best photos each day.

1. To add a photo to the group pool, click on the photo you would like to send. From the list of possible choices directly above the photo click on "Send to Group."
2. Choose the Sparkpeople Shutterbugs.
