21 Apr 08 - This is intended to be a PHOTO pool. Videos are wonderful in their place, but this isn't their place. Thanks.
The photos submitted so far have been fabulous. If you submitted a few and have others on the same theme, figure they're welcome as well.
When you visit, take a minute to comment on a couple photos in the pool. There are no "post 1, comment on 1" rules, but the shots here are so fabulous that they deserve comments.

About Spanish colonies in the United StatesPeople often forget that while Jamestown was the first "English" settlement in the area that became the United States, the Spanish had established both St. Augustine, Florida, and Santa Fe, New Mexico, before the English arrived. This group is to celebrate the Spanish and Mexican structures and places in what became the United States: El Camino Real; Spanish missions in California, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, and elsewhere; St. Augustine; and anyplace else. Since Puerto Rico is considered part of the United States, Spanish colonial sites from there are welcome as well. |
