About Soviet Glass

This is a group devoted to photographs taken with Soviet (and Russian) camera lenses. Any type of Soviet lens is eligible, the more exotic the better, of course.

Any type of photography and subject matter is permitted with the exception of pornography. Tastefully shot nudes will be evaluated by the moderator(s) and, if accepted, they will appear in the group.

Since this is devoted to Soviet lenses, please tag the photo with the make / model of the lens. Technical details in the description are welcome, but not required. Since Soviet glass is very versatile, you will find it mounted to all sorts of cameras. Thus, the camera used is irrelevant to this group. Film cameras are also welcomed.

This is an "invite only" group and the moderator(s) reserve the right to remove or refuse any photographs. The moderator(s) may or may not contact you with a reason for the removal of the image.

This is about learning and having fun so I wish you a great group experience. Let's have a good time making photos with our Soviet treasures.
