About Rochester's South Wedge Neighborhood
This group is dedicated to the neighborhood in Rochester NY that is known as The South Wedge.
The "Wedge" is a triangular shaped neighborhood south of Downtown Rochester NY. It's borders are the Genesee River on the West and Interstate 490 on the East. These make up the two vertical lines of it's "A" shape while the southern boundary is a little more ambiguous but is generally considered to run to Highland Park or there abouts.
In 2007 The South Wedge was voted Rochester's Best Neighborhood in City Newspaper's Reader Choice Awards. The Wedge also took home Best Coffee, Chinese Restaurant, Wine Selection at a Bar, Best Happy Hour, Best Meal Under $10, Best Bar, Best Park, Best Playground and more!
