About Southeast Strobists

This group is for photographers that live in or visit the Southeastern United States that follow the Strobist blog (www.strobist.com). For our purposes here, the Southeast is described as the following states (in no particular order):

Virginia
North Carolina
South Carolina
Tennessee
Kentucky
Georgia
Alabama
Mississippi
Florida

Through this site we hope to be able to organize meetups in our areas and network. The term local has broadened a bit, and it's not uncommon for many of us to travel out of state, so it no longer seems to make sense to have strictly state-based groups. Hopefully this will help to make life a little easier for those of us that enjoy traveling to enhance our photography.

When uploading photos to the group pool please include lighting info in the caption.
