Hello Ladies and Welcome!


We here at Bay Area Sirens (formerly Sonoma Sirens) are a cozy little collaboration of both professional and hobbyist women photographers who reside in or around the Bay Area, CA.
Our aim is to bring together the many talented women of all ages, who are out and about with their cameras, shooting this amazing landscape, themselves, and everything that is uniquely "ourselves".
There's a whole bunch of talented gals in this neck of California, so it's time to step up and show off your work with pride in a women's only space!
It's time to inspire and be inspired!

As far as group content...anything goes. We do ask that you keep it tasteful, bearing in mind that we are encouraging all women of all ages to become involved in this group, and we want everyone to feel safe :)
Tell your girlfriends, sisters, mothers, lovers, aunts, cousins, daughters and grandmothers about this group. Our vision is to build a community of women photographers who collectively inspire, share tips, tell stories and encourage each other's passion for this art.
We'll create lots of shooting challenges, themes, and help to organize actual *gasp* real life meetups to continually inspire each other and hopefully make a bunch of fantastic friends in the process.
Who knows, we may even pull together a collective exhibition to showcase our amazing work.
