About Sombrero Carbon

This whole gig started out as a game and to this day it still is. The members of Sombrero Carbon* are dedicated to winning this game. Outside of winning the game a priority is that life is fun.

THE GAME: Choosing not be overwhelmed by the magnitude of the worlds problems. Choosing not to just let it happen. Choosing a battle.
Ultimately: Seeing the world how you would like it to be and then acting in accordance with that view.

THE RULES: Well there arent any of course. Having said that, here are a few:
1. Aim beyond what you think you are capable of.
2. Its got to be fun.

PLAYERS: The more the better.

STRATEGIES: Plant trees. Involve people. Bring back the connection for survival between humans and nature. Bring the city to the country. Reconnecting, becoming undead and choosing quality in life.

GAME-PLAN: Organise tree planting events where people can enjoy working together to achieve something positive in response to the present climate problems. By the planting of the trees we hope to reduce damaging CO2 emissions in the atmosphere and increase the stability of the land. By involving people in the event we hope to give them an opportunity to take action and responsibility for an environmental crisis which faces us all. And then we celebrate our collective achievements with a party.

A REASON FOR PLAYING:
Our time here is magic! It’s the only space you have to realize whatever it is that is beautiful, whatever is true, whatever is great, whatever is potential, whatever is rare, whatever is unique, in. It’s the only space.
