About So Long Kid - A Project Franchise Tribute to Jr.

We are rallying support for the ultimate fan-favorite player as we attempt to set a World Record this Saturday, July 24th for the Most People Wearing Backwards Hats - paying homage to Griffey's number and signature style.

To help kick off the hype, we were at the Home Run Derby last week - an event Griffey won 3 times - where we announced our plans and helped rally fan support. We were also back in Anaheim this past Sunday for the Angels vs Mariners game, handing out promo cards and letting fans know how to get involved.

On the big day, we'll have set up this Flickr group so fans from across the country can upload pics of themselves rockin' the backwards cap Griffey-style as we charge ahead towards setting the record.
