About Solidarity with the Liulangzhuang community

What does your home mean to you? Comfort? Family? Safety?

Around 1,000 households in the community of Liulangzhuang in the Haidian district of Beijing are facing a possible forced eviction. They stand to lose not only their homes, but their livelihoods and their community.

In solidarity with the people of Liulangzhuang, Amnesty International is asking people all over the world to explain what your home means to you – and to demand an end to forced evictions.

We hope to deliver at least one photo to each of the 1,000 households in Liulangzhuang in December 2011.
