About Solar Challenge 2008

On Wednesday, July 23rd, the University of Calgary campus will watch more than 25 student-built solar cars fly across finish line of the North American Solar Challenge, a competition to design, build, and drive solar-powered cars in a cross-country time and distance race that takes teams over 2,400 miles from Dallas, Texas to Calgary.


Join us on campus to wave the cars across the finish line, learn about sustainable energy and the enviornment at our Community Partners Fair and, most importantly, cheer for the U of C Solar Car!
