About Softies for Mirabel - 2011 - Our Fifth Year!
Yay! IT'S NEARLY TIME! Softies for Mirabel is entering it's FIFTH year!!!!
We're asking the craft community to make a softie - which we'll exhibit and donate to the kids who are supported by The Mirabel Foundation. Mirabel is a wonderful organisation which supports the children of families affected by substance abuse. They do amazing, important work - and we try to support THEM in our own small crafty ways! You can make one softie.. or lots! You can hand-sew it or machine sew it... You can knit it.. or crochet it... You might even like to have a crafternoon devoted to softie making... or perhaps you have a social group who might like to have a go at this together!
Keep us posted by letting us know how YOU are getting involved... and upload lots of photos of whatever you decide to make for Mirabel!
We'll let you know when the Mailbox is open, and you can send your softie. Softies need to be finished and mailed so as to reach us by December 5th. We'll let you know the mailing address and when to start sending at www.meetmeatmikes.com
