About Soft Focus
A Gallery of beautiful Soft Focus photographs.
We are specifically looking for soft focus [dream-like] photographs that convey a mood, feeling, or emotion to the viewer.
Definition of Soft Focus--of or relating to the deliberate introduction of spherical aberration giving the appearance of blurring the image while retaining sharp edges. Not to be confused with an image that is merely out-of-focus.
Soft Focus may be achieved through use of a soft focus lens at the time the photograph is taken; or through image manipulation during post-processing--using Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, or something similar.
* Please note--Tilt-shift effects, however achieved, do not fit into this group.
Daily Photo Limits
There is presently no restriction to the number of photos you may add in any given day. However, please do not add more than 3-4 images to the pool at-one-time. Add a few, take a break and allow other group members an opportunity to add their images to the pool. Then you may add a few more.
Images that are not relevant to the Group will be subject to removal. Please do not resubmit them. Instead forward private inquiries or questions to the Administrator via Flickr mail.
This is a family friendly group. Therefore your Photostream must be rated "Safe" by Flickr to join. Nudity, semi-nudity, or sensationalism of any kind is not permitted.
The Group Guidelines are subject to revision as deemed necessary by the images submitted to the pool. Please review them periodically.
