MISSION
Social Photofest propone e fa conoscere esperienze tradizionali e innovative che stanno rivoluzionando da un lato la fotografia e dall’altro la società.
I vari campi della Fotografia "Sociale" verranno trattati durante lo svolgimento del Photofest (Piombino, 25 Maggio - 3 Giugno 2012) nei luoghi più suggestivi della Città.
Mostre Fotografiche, Workshops e manifestazioni che coinvolgeranno l’intera cittadinanza saranno il terreno per confrontarsi e scoprire la Fotografia come strumento sempre più universale.
L'evento si svolgerà con il patrocinio del Comune di Piombino, Assessorati alla Cultura, Turismo, Politiche Sociali.

Social Photofest shines the spotlight on the traditional and the innovative experiences that are revolutionizing both photography and society.
The many aspects of “Social” Photography will be examined during Photofest, to be held in Piombino, Maz 25th -June 3rd, 2012, in the most evocative locations in the city.
Photo exhibits, workshops, and citywide events will form the framework for discussing and exploring photography as an ever more universal tool.
The event will be held under the patronage of the municipality of Piombino, Departments of Culture, Tourism, and Social Policy.
