As part of forthcoming exhibition project A History of Sports Photography (scheduled after QMA’s reopening in 2012) and at the occasion of the 2010 World Cup Series, we are pleased to announce an open call:
"Soccer Players in the Park 2010"
We are asking you to submit the best pictures you have taken of soccer players-of all ages, colors and skill levels-who populate the grounds of Flushing Meadows Corona Park where the Queens Museum is located. All the photos will be displayed in a slide show in the “Future Gallery” of the Queens Museum AND ON THE GIANT SCREEN ON THE MUSEUM’S PARK SIDE FACADE DURING PASSPORT FRIDAY EVENT ON JULY 9TH WITH YOUR NAME ON! The photos should be submitted to this Flickr pool or to soccerphoto@queensmuseum.org
Please note we are only accepting ONE submission per person.
