23 Dec 08 - Thanks for joining Southern California Gardens. My goal is to develop this group into an educational forum as well as a photo gallery. For members who would like to contribute more to the group, take a moment to review the pool, and leave comments. If you have a knack for plant identification, or need a plant identified, check out the plant ID feature in the discussion area.

About Southern California Gardens

Southern California Gardens - View this group's most interesting photos on Flickriver

The Southern Californian gardening experience is unique. Our climate supports a number of native plants, and a vast array of non-natives imported from every corner of the earth. We live within a wide variety of climate zones, from the mountains and valleys to the deserts and coastal plains.

This group is dedicated to the Southern California gardener. We tend to be a bit experimental, usually not timid or shy and often bold and brazen. Our gardens are diverse, and representative of many cultures.

Please select your best garden photos. Wide angle shots and panoramas are encouraged. Macros and close-ups are allowed.

Give us a tour of your garden, and the gardens you have visited.

Let's see some diversity, uniqueness and beauty.

Most of all, enjoy!
