About Soap Films

Colours and patterns arising from the interference of reflected light rays from the front and rear surface of a thin film of water and soap (sometimes with sugar or glycerine) held in a frame, usually small (ie, a circular or square 'bubble wand') but can be much larger.

Please join us, everyone is welcome!

***** PLEASE NO PHOTOS OF ROUND, SEPARATE BUBBLES (ie: floating through the air) - JUST 'FLAT' (or slightly curved) FILMS SHOWING PATTERNS, ESPECIALLY HELD IN SOME KIND OF FRAME (THE FRAME NEED NOT BE SHOWN). COMPLETELY SPHERICAL BUBBLES WILL BE DELETED. THANKS EVERYONE!*****
