FRIENDS OF JEKYLL ISLAND - PLEASE TAKE NOTE!!!!

Jekyll is in danger of being vastly "overdeveloped" in the name of "enhanced revenue" and "redevelopment" and if current plans on the board are approved, Jekyll, as we know and love it, will cease to be Jekyll!!! I attended a public "information" meeting last Monday (September 23rd) and learned a lot about what's going on there, and I joined a group called "savejekyllisland.org"

If you would like to know more about what's being proposed and about how YOU might help Jekyll save her character and her ambiance, not the least of which is her VERY great and VERY important BIODIVERSITY, click on the link below and join the support group (non-financial) to help SAVE JEKYLL ISLAND!!! For your information, I am posting there as "Jekyll_Junkie" :)



Pictures taken on various trips to Jekyll Island, GA, a place where I feel completely "at home". I expect to live there one day - - - not sure how right now!

Please post your pictures of Jekyll Island if you've been there. If you haven't been there, pack a bag and your camera and go take pictures and bring them back to us!
