11 Apr 08 - Smashbat is a group dedicated to mechanical strobe photography. Our Smashbat has an embedded switch, connected to a disposable camera flash, so that whenever it comes in contact with an object with enough force, the flash will be triggered. Combined with a long exposure in a dark environment, this allows us to take photos of things being smashed, freezing the action at the moment of impact.
