SL Election posters at SL4B
|
I would like to have a campaign HQ at SL4B. One small section in the art ghetto. Would someone be willing to "host" that for me? Build it, collect posters from all candidates, etc?
Please contact me in-world, if interested. SL4B (SL's 4th Birthday) will be held June 23rd - 30th. Art Intsallation by June 20th. No selling.

I was going to hang (some) of mine anyway. But I give the honor (and time expenses) of hangen them all to someone else. =)
But be aware: most posters in this pool are CC or fully copyrighted. And not all are in this pool. Witch CC you need to mention who made it, and for fully copyrighted, actually, you can't hang them at all.

Anyone who wants to have their campaign posters hung at SL4B will need to deliver them in-world to the organizer (it appears to be me). Make sure you IM me with the name of the poster! (You can even put next-person-can't-transfer perms on the texture.)

Ok, let's try an experiment ....
If you are a member of the SL4B group, you can get to the SL4B sims. Please go to slurl.com/secondlife/SL04/87/55/256 and see if you can put your poster into one of the frames there. You may have to have your SL4B group title on.
If you can't get there, then you can send me your poster as a texture IN WORLD! I'll be happy to add it to the viewers, but I need permissions (see Vint's post, above). (You can make it no-transfer, no copy, if you like.)
Giving me the texture in-world is allowing me to use it AS IS in the campaign HQ I've set up in the SL4B sims.
If anyone wants to make a better graphic than the one I'm using, I'd be thrilled.

Ok, the campaign HQ has been built and the first of the pictures installed. YOU, yes YOU, can go to Campaign HQ (See SLURL above) if you belong to the SL4B group, and drop your texture into the frame of your choice. Make sure you have the SL4B tag on. (Edit the appropriately-sized frame, go to the "contents" page, and drop your texture into the object.)
If you do not belong to the group, you can send me the texture(s) IN-WORLD and I will install them for you.
Please note, the frames are either square (ratio 1:1), or rectangular (ratio 3:4 or 4:3) Put your texture into the right frame! Happy hunting.

Ok, last try.
I am going out of the country for several weeks (to hide from my political enemies), but I'm willing to take a last stab at putting the campaign posters into the SL4B display. If you send me your picture TODAY, in-world, I will put it into the display.
Anyone who belongs to the SL4B group can add pictures to the frames, as described above. But this is the last chance *I* will have to do it for you.
I will not return until after the elections have taken place. I'm wondering if there is an absentee ballot....

Have inserted mine. I first tried to add it to the content with no result. Just dropping it in on the frame inserted my picture, but I'm not sure if the other pictures will ever show up.
Something for you Shoshana. I can't figure out how the script works.
