About Sky Wheels
Founded in 2007, this is the original Sky Wheel group on Flickr.
This group was established to document and celebrate the Sky Wheel double Ferris wheels by Allan Herschell, Chance Manufacturing, or earlier variants. Once a standard feature of nearly every major midway, the Sky Wheel today has become fairly rare.
The Sky Wheel is a beautiful machine that is fun and exciting to ride. It provides an endless variety of photo opportunities. It's fascinating to see how each individual photographer pictures this classic ride. Thanks for exhibiting your Sky Wheel photos here.
