About New England Sky Scenes
Welcome to the New England Sky Scenes group on Flickr!
Most afternoons and evenings on NECN (New England Cable News, www.necn.com), I share New England photos submitted by you, our viewers, in hopes of sharing the splendor and beauty of New England with one another. These pictures include gorgeous skies, amazing weather, natural beauty and scenery, or pictures of one another enjoying New England life.
Through this site, you can submit pictures for consideration in the on-air broadcasts. The images that are aired will be posted on my Facebook Fan page in the "Photos Featured On-Air" photo album. Because there are so many more wonderful pictures than there is time in a broadcast, all images that were prepped to air - whether they made it on or not - are displayed prominently in the online gallery on my homepage, www.mattnoyes.net, linked below.
TO JOIN THE NEW ENGLAND SKY SCENES GROUP:
1) Become a member of Flickr. It's free, it's quick and it's easy. I did it in about 2 minutes.
2) Go to www.flickr.com/groups/skyscenes/
3) Click "Join This Group" to become a member.
4) Upload your photos to your account.
5) Title them as you wish - be sure to include your name and location in the description so they will post to the site and you'll get credit for your photo!
6) Important: If you'd like your pictures to post to my Mattnoyes.net photo archive, they must be marked "public" under the Additional Information section to the right of the photo in your account. Otherwise, if they're not "public," I can't post them!
6) Share them with the New England Sky Scenes group.
From there, once you've posted your pictures to the group, they'll be approved by yours truly and appear on the Flickr group page, and if you've made them PUBLIC instead of private or freinds/family only, I'll be able to post them on my Mattnoyes.net New England Photos page (otherwise the application will not give me permission to post to my site), where the ongoing archive will be kept for all to see.
