About Skyline Drive and Huntington-Eccles Scenic Byway

Skyline Drive is a scenic backway located in central Utah within the Manti-La Sal National Forest. Most of the road is on improved gravel that stretches for 87 miles along the Wasatch Plateau climbing to an elevation of 11,000 feet. See these links for more information:

Within this geographical area is the beautiful Huntington-Eccles Scenic Byway on Highway 31 and Highway 264, which connects the towns of Scofield, Fairview and Huntington. This entire area of the Wasatch Plateau and Skyline Drive offer countless, fun outdoor recreation.


The Skyline Drive group is dedicated to photographs that have been taken within this described area. Please share your photos of the beautiful scenes and activities that you have experienced here.


How To Get There:

There are three major access points for this beautiful mountain drive, although there are many other access routes. The furthest north access is at the Tucker rest stop area off of Highway 6. A central access point is located east of Fairview on Highway 31 near milepost 9 to go North and milepost 24 to head South. The furthest south access point is located on I-70 at exit 72.
