About background: sky
any foreground object that has the sky as a backdrop. The object can be brightly lit, or a silhouette.
the foreground object should be predominantly backed by sky, with no grass, earth, or water sharing the objects backdrop
of course, there are always exceptions to the rules, but it is a good idea to uses these suggestions as strict guidelines for posting your images until you get familiar with the group
while mountain landscapes and sunsets over the ocean are great to look at, they don't belong in this group unless there is a predominant foreground object. those captures may find a better fit in Beautiful Scenery
