About Skilled Trades: The Art of Work

This group celebrates work shops, small factories, the environs in which they are found, and the people who work there. Skilled trades such as machining, welding, metal fabricating, carpentry and masonry provide the appreciative photographer with a wealth of subjects. We are looking for thoughtfully composed photographs that reveal the beauty of the industrial section of town. Show the non-seeing what they are missing when they hurry past. If a rack of steel cut-offs rusting majestically in the light of the setting sun stops you in your tracks, this group is for you.
