The name of the group is the title of a Jim White song and does a pretty good job hinting at what the content should be.
Bars, churches, road-side stops, signs, carnivals, dives, drive-ins, carnivals, crumbling buildings- I think all of these are much more interesting when viewed from a rural perspective.
