About Digital Photography Fall 09

This course introduces digital photographic equipment, theory and processes including camera operation, composition, computer photo manipulation and creative expression. Upon completion, students should be able to successfully expose, digitally manipulate and present a well-conceived composition.

Students will learn the basics of art appreciation, art criticism and photographic discourse. Students will learn basic photographic production/processing skills in order to manipulate, optimize and display her images. Students will be introduced to basic photography skills in order to hone her craft and to create a final portfolio that is representative of herself and of God’s work.
