About The Size of Life

When many of us formally learned photography for the first time, we learned to shoot in 50mm, where the image through the viewfinder approximated the size of life through our naked eye.

This group is for those who love to shoot at the 50mm or equivalent (30 to 35mm on most non-full frame DSLR sensors). There is something freeing about capturing an image at this focal length, where we take a portion of our field of vision and frame it for eternity.

I created this group because there are many other groups dedicated to shooting with a 50mm lens, but what I wanted was a group dedicated to images shot at the size of life. Because of this, there will not be so many rules about what can and cannot be submitted; if you stay within the spirit of the group, your photos are welcomed here.
