Secondimpression.net is having a wallpaper contest!

As you may have noticed, our website has user selectable wallpapers, just becasue we thought it was a fun little feature. if you have an image that you would like for us to feature (fully credited) on our website, submit it to this pool.

RULES
1) must be non-explicit. tasteful nudity nudity is permissible, but full on frontal porn is NOT ACCEPTIBLE and will be deleted from the pool at the our discression

2) Images must be a MINIMUM of 1280x1024. yes, we know, flickr wont let you actually have stuff that big. We will have the winners give us the images via email or some other way. flickr also compresses images so they are a little jepggy, which is evil. the original dimensions MUST BE a MINIMUM of 1280x1024 pixels though (so that it wont tile, becasue tiling look awful on our site)

3) entries. a maximum of 5 entries per person (so this doesn't get overrun.)

Guidelines
take a look at the site, and how it operates, the content is in the center of the page, therefor it would be best for images to have the focal points to one or both sides of the main area, not in the enter
also, there is a static header at the top f the page so having the focal point there would be silly, as it would always be covered. The backgrounds will be static (they will not scroll with the content) so keep that in mind as well.

THESE DO NOT HAVE TO BE IMAGES FROM SECOND LIFE. ILLUSTRATIONS, PHOTOS, ANYTHING IS ACCEPTABLE.

The top entries will be chosen by the site owners and will be used as backgrounds on our site. the number of entries chosen will be dependent on the number of entries submitted. chosen entries w ill be contacted via flickr mail to get credit details. winners retain copyright and owner ship of all their pieces.


Pretty much, we really want the site to feature users work. We could easily churn out a million of our own backgrounds, but where is the fun in that! and we like to promote other users : )
