An exhibition of your best picture of Singapore or otherwise as appropriate to the theme of the week.

RULES (Amendments#1)

MEMBERS

1. Posting: Members can post up to ONE (1) pic per day. Up to 7 pics can be considered for selection. If more than 7 pics are posted it will the discretion of admins to delete excess pics.

2. Tagging: All pics posted for selection for the week will be tagged with "SGPOW##" where ## will be indicated in the group title. Members can amend or add the "SGPOW##" tag to their previous submissions. (Note: If your post is deleted from the pool, you need to delete the SGPOW tag too.)

3. Commenting. All members are encourage to make constructive comments to pictures in the pool. And if it is not too inconvenient to add the following to the comment:

SELECTORS

4. Selector. Selector will be the one whose pic was selected for the previous week.

5. Eligible Pictures. Pics posted for the week are eligible. Selector's own pics are not eligible. Selector, if he so chooses, can also select pics from previous weeks, not previously selected as pic of the week.

6. Selection. Selection will be made on the Wed of the week. Selector will post his comments, reasons and a small version of the selected pic to an indicated thread to announce his selection. He can optionally post other pics which he had considered but did not select eventually.

ADMINS

7. General Duties: To scan all posted pics to see if they are properly tagged, and to assist, advice or remind as appropriate and necessary.

Upon Selection:

8. Tagging: To tag selected pic with "SGPOW(Selected)".

9. Invitation</b;. To invite selected picture to the Singapore Picture of the Week (Selected Pictures). This is a by invitation only group.

10. Start New Thread for Next Week. To open a new thread with comments, instructions or reminders, whatever is relevant and appropriate for the next week. Admins can create a theme for the week here too. (How this theme is to be arrived at is to be discussed beforehand by members. Members can suggest themes.)

11. Group Title Amendment. To amend group title by incrementing the number in the SGPOW tag. The group title shall be of the form "Singapore Picture of the Week (Please Tag with SGPOW##)". The week number is indicated in the ##.
