About Simple Optics This group is for those photographers exploring simple lenses that have been adapted to digital camera bodies. Magnifier lenses, single element lenses, partial lenses, plastic lenses, single use camera lenses, lens reversals, multiple lenses, weird optics, homemade compound lenses, broken lenses, modified projection lenses, melted optics, broken glass, optics, pinholes or zoneplates that have been used in some kind of new way. Please describe the process and means of attachment to DSLR. Lenses must completely replace the camera lens and should not be attached to or shot through the front of the existing lens unless the optics are necessary for the effect. No add on lenses, auxillary lenses, lensbabies, manufactured photographic add-ons, vaseline, gel filters, close-up lenses, etc. This group is about creative experimentation and fun with simple optics.
