About SIMON SAYS...
Want an HONEST opinion on your photograph? HERE’S the place to get it! Be warned though, the opinions given to photographs in this group will be given SIMON style! So, before you decide to submit a photo for critique, be sure you can take the heat!
The Rules:
-Only submit photos you want critiqued SIMON style. Some of the opinions and comments may seem cruel and brutal, but in effort to keep the theme of the group true, that’s the way it has to be!
-You are OBLIGATED to critique, SIMON style, the two photos posted immediately before yours. If you don’t follow this one, simple rule, you will be banned from the group. If, on the other hand, you have the time and interest in viewing and commenting on more than the two required photos, please, feel free to critique as many as you'd like.
-There will be no tolerance to retaliation or revenge commenting after receiving a “bad” critique by SIMON. This is supposed to be an educational (to some SMALL extent) experience and a way to improve your photography, but most of all, it should be FUN!
-Do not erase comments!! First of all, if you're not in it for the fun and honest feedback, don’t bother posting. Secondly, if you erase the comments you don’t like, there is no way to tell if everyone is following the rule of commenting on the photos previous to the one they post. Be sure, before you submit a photo, that you will accept the opinion of the person doing the critique and will allow it to remain on your photo page.
-No swearing!!. Be creative, if an image is really poor, think of a way to convey your opinion without using profanity. Anyone questioning a comment that may have broken this rule, should contact admin so they can remove the comment and address the member who left it. More than one warning on vulgar commenting will result in a ban from the group.
-You may post TWO photos to the group daily, but, not consecutively. You must wait to post the second photo of the day until 2 more photos that ARENT yours have been posted. When leaving your critique, please attach one of the group "icons" from below. You may use the "thumbs up" Simon for a good critique and the "thumbs down" for a critical critique, or, you may use either for all comments. There is no "rule" about which image and link you have to use, only that you use one of them when leaving your comments.
