The images we are looking for are not focused on revealing the personality of someone in a private moment (as, say, street portraiture) nor strung up on fishing one moment from the stream of time in the public arena (like, perhaps, street photography). The photographs we are looking for are ones that somehow capture an interactive relationship between people and places.
This is a moderated group for photos, which is to say that still images are chosen or not solely on the subjective tastes of the moderators. We're only experts on what we like. We do intend however to curate this group with the stringency G.K. Chesterton describes to fancy restaurants but hopefully with some of the insight of Father Brown.
There are lots of places on Flickr where photos can be dumped. Curation, we think, makes things interesting for everybody. At the same time, we hope you'll feel free to submit as many images as you want. We won't take umbrage at your submissions if you don't take offence at our selections.
