About Sign of the Fish (Giant Fish and Signage)

This group welcomes signs and sculptures of fish (trout, salmon, goldfish, etc.) that stand proudly on restaurants, bars, diners, clubs, motels, delis, tourist stops, fish stores, fishing supply stores, parks, recreation centers and other businesses. Giant, over-sized roadside attraction fish sculptures are especially welcome.

Preferred: large fish sculptures, often on top of the building or sign.

Welcome: Fiberglass fish, neon sign fish, plastic fish, painted fish on signs, as long as they are the sign or advertisement for the business. It's ok if the business no longer exists...

We love vintage, but it doesn't have to be especially old to be invited. Kitsch is good.


This group is NOT for:
-actual real, living fish (or dead fish, either... )
-cooked fish (no fish and chips!)
-your art and drawings of fish
-other animals, such as ducks, unless they come with a fish
-toy fish
