About Sign of the Chicken (Giant Chickens & Signage)

This group welcomes signs and sculptures of chickens (chicks, hens or roosters) that stand proudly on restaurants, fried chicken fast food places, drive-ins, diners, delis, butchers, egg companies, farms, and other businesses. Giant, over-sized roadside attraction chicken sculptures are especially welcome.

Preferred: Neon chicken signage or large chicken sculptures, often on top of the building or sign.

Welcome: Fiberglass chicken sculptures, neon chickens, painted chickens, chicken head sculptures, as long as they are the sign or advertisement for the business. It's ok if the business no longer exists...

We love vintage, but it doesn't have to be especially old to be invited. Kitsch is good.

This group is NOT for:
-actual real, living chickens (or dead chickens, either... no already fried chickens, ok?)
-chicken carcasses, legs or chicken wings
-your art and drawings of chickens
-other animals, such as pigs or cows, unless they come with a chicken
-Not quite as excited about those art projects where they paint a bunch of fiberglass animals and display them around town as an art statement of sorts... kinda common.
