About Sidelight / Backlight

Great images of sidelit or backlit subjects. Images should show how sidelight graces and brings out the textures, surfaces or geometry of the subjectmatter. Backlit subjects often prove to be challenging to capture. If you've got an interesting image that is interesting /because/ it is backlit or otherwise successfully overcomes this lighting challenge, include the image! Thanks for your contributions.

PS: no plain sunsets please! if there is a subject in the image which the sunset's light graces, please post it, but since we are looking for interesting, challenging work, there will have to be something remarkable in the sunset to keep it in the pool.
