About The Shot Tower

Finally, a group specifically dedicated to the Shot Tower. If you've been to Melbourne, or live here you most likely have a shot of the shot tower. If you don't, you really want to.

Any image with the Coop's Shot Tower in it is accepted. Post your classic cliched shots that are exactly the same as everyone else's, and your more adventurous ones - those shots you start to take when you realise that you don't need to shoot the Shot Tower each time you walk under it.

Coop's Shot Tower was built in 1889-90 and was used to make lead shot. Saved from demolition, it was incorporated into the Melbourne Central complex which opened in 1991.
