17 May 11 - The word lunatic originally referred to those who were affected by the changes of the moon.

Created in honor of the 2010 New Year's Blue Moon, this group is for those of like soul, who chase the moon, enraptured by its pull and beauty.

All are welcome, but only the most captivating images of the moon shall be allowed into the pool. For me it's about the gravity of the photo & the elements that give the image a unique and lustful quality.

About Lunar Lust: Glimpses of the Moon

a group for all the lunatics* who shoot the moon, that brilliant orb that escapes one's grasp and cannot be tamed. the beauty of which is much like our own, a reflection of something greater.

images fit for this group must possess some sort of unusual and unique elements, this is not a group for the cliche moon snapshots. this is a group of lunar lust, images that have some compelling force to them: sensuous, mysterious, haunting, humbling, or humorous -- something that makes it unusual and obsessive.


created in honor of the new year's blue moon 2010. only the most enamoring captures will be admitted to the pool.
