About しまなみ海道 : Shimanami Kaido

Group for any and all pictures relating to Japan's Shimanami Kaido, a chain of islands (and a road) that connects Hiroshima Prefecture (Honshu, Japan's main island) with Ehime Prefecture (Shikoku). It crosses the Seto Inland Sea and has some of the world's most amazing bridges and majestic scenery!

It has a legendary bike trail, known as Japan's best bike route, allowing you to cross the entire thing including the bridges. Many cyclists take pictures during their ride -- please post them here!

「しまなみ海道」とは、本州の広島県尾道市と四国の愛媛県今治市をつながる島々。1999年に高速道路が開通し、自転車でも渡れるすごくきれいな道路。
