About Sherman Thomas Archive

In order to create the character of Sherman Thomas we require photographs of your memories. These themes can be interpreted freely. Any images submitted will feature in the final installation at Chapter Arts Centre.

The Sherman Thomas Archive is a cross-media collaboration between Steepways Productions and auralab, premiering at Chapter Arts Centre Cardiff (UK) as part of Experimentica 06 (06 - 15 October), Festival of Experimental Art.

Sherman Thomas is a character unable to separate between his own and other peoples’ memories. His story is told, employing performance, photography, audio and video within an organic installation, to replicate the mechanics of how memories are formed. If you would like your photographic memories to become part of the Sherman Thomas Archive, please contribute your photographs via this group.
