About Sheffield Climbing
Sheffield is a hotbed for climbing. With the wonderful Peak District a few miles from the city there are thousands and thousands of climbs on the gritstone and limestone crags.
On top of that there are the innumerable indoor walls and artificial boulders around the city itself.
This group is for pictures of bouldering or climbing in and around Sheffield. The aim is to have inspirational pictures of the crags, boulders and walls that the city is graced with. Whether you've been pottering around on the Brick, Tank and Cobra at Burbage South, trekked up to Derwent Edge to climb Great Buttress, working sports routes a Raven Tor or spent the day at the venerable Stanage post your best pictures of climbing here.
