About Seattle Flickr Character Project

About the Group
A Seattle Flickr participation group inspired by the USA American Character Project. (http://www.usanetwork.com/characterproject/#/gallery/photo)

Our intent is to create a pool of photos that show the characters of Seattle, from now until August 1st.

On August 1st, we'll put together a compilation of the best pictures, and arrange a public showing, probably at a Seattle Flickr Meetups Brews & Views.

We look forward to seeing your images!

Posting To the Pool
After much deliberation, the emerging consensus is that we should concentrate on the people of Seattle. Photos should be portrait based, whether it's posed or candid. There must be a focal subject. Although details like hands were included in the USA project, we have elected not to include those types of shots. Last but not least, It's pretty obvious by our group name, however, photos must be taken in and around the Seattle area.

We have introduced a 5 Photos/Day limit to promote diversity.

This is a general group so please don't add any +18 content. Thank you!
