Photo SF and stroll

Mark (pinhole) posted this over on Upcoming.org, but not everyone who's here is on there, so I thought it was worth repeating. It's about the big photo show at Fort Mason this weekend:

How about going to PhotoSF www.artfairsinc.com/photosf/2006/ together, what better way to learn about photography than to walk around, learn and drink wine together. I have been most years and always learn and get inspired.
Afterwards how about a photo stroll through the ( Marina district) ending with some food and drinks.

The current plan is having us meet in the cafe at Fort Mason on Saturday at around 2pm, take in the show, then have a photo stroll in the Marina area, then maybe some dinner and drinks afterwards.
The photo show is fabulous, just the best collection of fine art photography in San Francisco, a once-a-year event not to be missed. It's going on all weekend, so even if you can't make it Saturday, it's worth seeing at some point.

oh man, this sounds like so much fun, but i have a family function already scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. great idea for a photostroll though!

I liked-but-didn't-love the last, it was absurdly chaotic. I might go for just the stroll though.

Which "cafe at Fort Mason" are you refering to? I know of the Green's Restaurant near the main office. Or are you refering to the snack area inside the pavillion that will house PhotoSF? Or is there another cafe that I don't know about?

I don't think I am going to make it after all. I've had pretty bad insomnia all week and I just fell asleep getting my hair cut. Somehow, I don't think I should leave my couch for a while. Have fun!
