· Welcome to this group dedicated to the mining town Sewell.

Chile is enclosed between the mountain chain and sea, and in spite of them near four thousand kilometres of mountain, only there exists a village that was constructed in the Andean clump: Sewell.

The reasons can be different, but this singularity does that this mining village born in the mouth of the biggest underground mine of the world ("El Teniente") is unique and now they all are looking at them as the great cultural and mining project of this century.
