About South East Queensland Meetup

Welcome to our group.

We are South East Queensland based Photographers, who meet regularly and enjoy photographing our beautiful area.

We want to provide a fun and exciting way for people to meet and share their love for Photography.

Our group is open to anyone living in South East Queensland (if you live outside SEQ feel free to join in, but you might find yourself driving around a fair bit).

Please take the time to browse and participate in the group discussions. We've put together a simple system which will help you describe your proposed meet up or forum topic. Please use these topic pre-fixes when you create a new post.

[MonthlyMeet] - Monthly Meet - Each month a meet will be put together, it might be a landscape, a portrait shoot or even just a social get together. Either way we will strive to have something planed for each month.

[LMM] - Last Minute Meet Up - Use this to advertise a meet up that you've only just put together, sometimes you look out the window, check the tides and you know, you need to get out... share that with others, they might have the same idea but are just not sure where to go!

[INV] - Invite - Used to offer an invite to a future planned event. Planned events are usually discussed with the group before hand, a time and date is then set.

[DISC] - Discussion - General discussion of a topic or meet up idea.

[LOCGUIDE] - Location Guide - Over time we will provide guides for local SEQ locations, feel free to add you're own.

[OT] - Off Topic - Used when you want to discuss something that might not be SEQ Meetup related.

For meet up to be classified as a meet up, 3 or more people must attend.

Rules

Thanks for joining our group, we only have a few simple rules that we ask you to follow.

1. Post only images from meets organised via this group.

2. There is no image pool limit, but a limit of three(3) images per meet up maybe be posted.

3. No porn, or illegal images, this group is family safe and open to all members from all ages, please also respect this rule when taking part in forum discussions.
