About Campaign for a Sensible Sandwich

I'd like to document all the crappy sandwiches I get from cafes and sandwich shops, and I'd like you to do the same.

I'm tired of unwrapping my "gourmet" sandwich order and finding it consists of two pieces of bread with an inch-thick block of sliced deli meat between them:


... or 12 slices of tasteless orange cheese:


... or a mish-mash of so many ingredients that it's impossible to eat the damn thing because it's bulging so much in the middle.

And every time I ask why I've been served so much food in my sandwich I'm always met with amazement, "We've never had anyone complain about too much food before!"

Well, I'm going to start complaining, and I'm going to post the pictures here and try to list where I bought the damn things.

Sandwiches don't need to be like this. If you use good ingredients and balance them properly, you can make lovely, tasty, practical, sensible food. For example:
