About STAR QUALITY PHOTO CONTESTS

~~ABOUT OUR GROUP~~

We (Admins) will open contests on different subjects. Photos that are entered to contest streams are accepted ONLY if they meet the current open contest theme & rules - any photo that DOES NOT will be DELETED without notice.

At the closing of each contest there will be a panel of 10 to 12 judges from our members that will cast thier ANONYMOUS votes for their 4 favorite entries. These will be flickr mailed to us. Once they make thier choices awards are given to the top 3 entries and sometimes, an honorable mention for those really close contests. 1st, 2nd & 3rd Winners earn a spot in our "Hall Of Fame" group pool.

All are welcome to enter or invite any photo you think is contest worthy.
No invite needed.

~~MANDATORY GROUP RULES~~

If you submit a photo to the contest, you MUST award another photo in the contest a Star Award. (Post 1/ Award 1, Post 2/ Award 2)
The first entry poster to the contest will be responsible to come back and give out their Star Award after a few photos have been submited but before the closing. Any member found posting to contests and NOT awarding will have their submited photo(s) REMOVED from the contest. There are always alot of fantastic photos submited to the contests and we would like everyone to be recognized for their efforts.

DO NOT re-enter any photo(s) that have already received 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in one of our contests to future new contests. Any photos that have already won will be REMOVED from new contests. We would like to have new photo winners in every contests.

Enter photos ONLY to Contest Threads as we have NO PUBLIC GROUP POOL----
Only contest Winners are accepted in the Group Pool which we call our "HALL OF FAME".
All others will be DENIED!

Photo(s) submitted by members MUST BE THEIR OWN PHOTOS. Edited or Photoshopped photos are allowed as long as they fit the contest theme and as long as the photo(s) were TAKEN by the member that is submitting it.

DO NOT BLOCK any Admins or Mods. Blocking will result in having your photo(s) REMOVED from contests.

DO NOT POST PHOTOS THAT ARE MARKED PRIVATE. Admins MUST HAVE access to all photo pages to check for Star Awards and to award Winning Ribbions.

DO NOT START NEW DISCUSSION THREADS. Only Admins can start new threads.
If you have any questions please leave them in our "SHOUT BOX!".

All photos submitted to the contests MUST be Family Friendly.

THERE IS ZERO TOLLERENCE FOR NUDITY OR BAD LANGUAGE
YOU WILL BE BANNED IMMEDIATELY!
